This collection contains 762 color and black and white films. Primarily 16mm, there are also 55 8mm films and two 35mm nitrate films. In addition to family life, the collection is especially strong in its documentation of railroads, highways, and transportation culture.

Biographical Note

A member of the Amateur Cinema League, Scott Nixon traveled widely from his home in Augusta, GA documenting these travels on 16mm and 8mm film (1930s to 1970s).
